Potato and Leek Pie.

Homemade. A creative and enriching skill to be fostered in one’s simple life. Two months shy of 29 and I’m only just starting to relish in the wide ranging joy that flows from the river of all things homemade.

Today it was pie. Good old shortcut pastry golden gooey pie. Potato, leeks, onion, thyme, Dijon mustard, butter, milk and cheese produce said pie and it is faultless thank you to one Mary Berry at BBC Food, here’s the recipe for those keen to try. She makes her pastry from scratch and I’m not there yet… baby steps.

I’ll keep cooking. Please share any notable recipes below, preferably vegetarian.
